Why EXRT ai exists
Training decisions are still made using external outputs and assumptions. EXRT was built to reveal the internal physiological cost that those decisions often miss.
Why this matters personally
EXRT wasn’t built in a vacuum.
The motivation to look deeper into physiological response came from personal experience -including the loss of a family member aged just 26 from cardiac arrest – Sean, where the signals that mattered were either unseen, misunderstood, or surfaced too late.
That experience shaped how EXRT was approached from the start:not as a system built around averages – but as a way to understand individual physiological response over time, before issues compound.
While EXRT is not a diagnostic or medical tool, the belief behind it is simple: better context earlier leads to better decisions later.
Built on continuous ECG
To understand internal response, you need a reliable physiological signal.
EXRT uses a lightweight, chest-worn ECG patch to capture continuous cardiac data during training and recovery – avoiding the limitations of intermittent or wrist-based measurements.
This signal underpins everything else on the platform.
The team behind EXRT
EXRT was founded by practitioners and technologists working across performance, physiology, and applied analytics – with experience in high-performance environments where decisions matter.
We’re building EXRT alongside coaches, sports scientists, and athletes – shaping the platform around real training contexts, not assumptions.
